How to Manage Your Profile, Signature and Avatar

I. How to Set Your Profile Background and Change Its Display Style:

1. Go to your profile by clicking on your name in the upper left hand corner of the site.
2. Hover over "Viewing User Profile" in the left hand corner then click on the pencil and paper edit icon that appears.
3. In the panel that appears you will be able to edit the following:
4. Profile Display Style.
5. Your notes' background transparency.
6. How many friends to show limited by the maximum amount purchased.
7. A background color for your profile.
8. Whether or not to use a background image.
9 The direct link of the background image to use if you decide to use one.
10. The position and behavior of your chosen background image if applicable.

II. How to Move Sections of Your Profile:

1. In your profile, you can click and drag next to the section header you wish to move to either left, middle or right alignment.
NOTE: You can only move "Ladder Slasher", "Top Friends" or "Gaming and Social Profiles". Signature, notes and user stats aren't movable.

III. How to Change Your Personal Info:

1. You are able to edit your birthday, location and status by clicking on them under the user stats section in your profile.
2. Add your info
3. Click Save

Before you add a signature or an avatar, please keep the following in mind:

1. Your signature and avatar must follow all of the Official Site Rules and Policies.
2. Your avatar must be a maximum of 50 kilobytes and that it will be scaled down to a maximum of 64x64 pixels.

Also, if you do not yet have a signature or an avatar and you would like someone to make you one for free or vs FG then you can request one in the Graphic Request Forum. Just be sure to read the Graphic Request Forum Rules and I would also recommend reading: Helpful Tips For Getting The Best Gfx.

IV. How to Add a Signature:

1. Go to your profile by clicking on your name in the upper left hand corner of the site.
2. Hover over the signature section on the same part as the "Signature" text then click on the pencil and paper edit icon that appears.
3. If you're going to be using an image then add the direct link of the image in between image tags and if you're going to be using text simply add the text.
NOTE: You need at least 15 posts for your images to show.
4. Click the "Edit Signature" button to finish editing your signature.
NOTE: You can also preview how your signature will look by clicking on preview before saving it.

V. How to Add an Avatar:

1. Go to your profile by clicking on your name in the upper left hand corner of the site.
2. Hover next to your name in your profile and then click on the pencil and paper edit icon that appears.
3. Paste your avatar's direct link in the "Avatar URL" field.
NOTE: You do not need to add image tags and the direct link is the one ending in the file extension i.e. .jpg, .png, .gif
4. Click the "Change Avatar" button to finish adding your avatar.

VI. How to Edit Your Profile Notes and Add Media to Your Profile:

To edit your profile notes:
1. Go to your profile by clicking on your name in the upper left hand corner of the site.
2. Hover over the notes section on the same part as the "Notes" text then click on the pencil and paper edit icon that appears to the right.
3. Input your profile notes info.
4. Click the "Edit Profile Notes" button to finish editing your your notes.
NOTE: You can also preview how your noptes section will look by clicking on preview before saving it.

To add media slots:
5. Click on buy media slots after starting to edit your notes (step 2 above)
6. Input your gold password in the window that appears
7. Confirm your purchase.
Note: This purchase is final and nonrefundable. Also, keep in mind that the maximum number of slots you can purchase is 10

VII. How to Manage Your Top Friends:

To change your friends list order:
1. Go to your profile by clicking on your name in the upper left hand corner of the site.
2. Click on Top X / Friends
3. Mark the boxes next to the friends you want to edit.
4. Change the numbers next to the friends you want to edit.
Note: The higher numbers are shown at the top of your list, and you can also order your whole friends list, not just the ones that will be visible in the profile.
5. Click Update Ranks at the bottom of your friend list.

To buy more top profile friends slots:
6. In your profile click on Top X/ Friends to get to your friends list
7. At the bottom there is a section to purchase another friend's slot for 500 FG each additional slot.
8. Input your gold password
9. Click on purchase friend slot to confirm.
Note: This purchase is final and nonrefundable. Also, keep in mind that the maximum number of slots you can purchase is 32

VIII. How to Add Your Gaming and Social Profiles:

To add:
1. You can add Gaming and Social profiles by clicking on the "Gaming and Social Profiles" header in your profile.
2. Edit your info in the window that comes up
3. Click Add New to save

To edit:
4. Select the profile in the Gaming and Social Profiles window
5. Click on what you'd like to do
6. Click update if you are editing to save your changes
