No i mean so I can Unlock it so i no longer have to pay the 10 a month right? or is that just the way it is no matter what. i read something about 25$ donations

There is no other way. Becoming a staff member perhaps? But this has to be earned.

That would probably be the donor forum access, which doesn't cover all of the customer/verified user perks. Having donor forum access permanently enables the Image Upload Feature, but does not increase the size of your PM box etc.

Donations of 25$ will get you into the screening process for access to the donor forum; however, access is not guaranteed.

If you are looking for any of the customer/verified user perks, your only option is to regularly purchase fg for 10$+ each month, there is no other way to obtain these.
