I have a buddy in my town who I'm trying to get acquainted with this site. He sees me and hears me playing poker and dice and wanted to sell some of his osrs gold for fg to play. He got that far, however each time he posts in BNP he gets a temp ban with no warning and doesn't specificy what he did wrong and just links him to all the rules. Honestly doesn't effect me none, just wondering if he isn't allowed to post in that forum or what?
He was able to post fine in osrs forum.

Pretty sure his first few posts cannot be in bnp

If he's automatically suspended after trying to post there, he is most likely hitting a word filter every time. You don't get suspended on here for missing posting rights or something like that.

Naw bnp has some sort of temp ban if you make a new account and end up there right away, unsure if it’s time based or post count based but surely a mediator will know the answer

Yea I tried tell him to post in osrs for awhile but 3rd post he went straight for bnp. Ok thanks guys. I'll tell him to get more posts before trying again!

Yeah I recommend you show him general chat, and probably best if you explained how most of the site rules and stuff work, it’s pretty easy to break a few rules when you don’t know them

In all my years since '06 I've never ever heard of suspensions being disposed for trying to post in a specific forum section on here. It would prevent you from posting there, but not suspend you. There's also no sticky that specifies any posting rights in the bnp forum (like the scammer accusations for example).

Thanks. I linked him to this thread, hopefully he's not lazy and reads all of it. Clicks a few links and reads that too. I know I only got bans and warns for shit I deserved before in the past lol
