I reported a post, but was not given an opportunity to attach a message to the report. I want to share my perspective and to specify in the report that the post had violated bullet point six under "Illegal Trades" from this official rules post: https://forums.d2jsp.org/info.php?p=6

How do I share my perspective along with my report?

Reports are monitored by the staff, they will be dealt with.

There are no "comment window".
Just report and move on. Eventually penalty will be handed out.
You will not see when or how your report got dealt with, sadly.

You can pm the mod I guess for that particular forum, although unless it’s real issue and not “I think this violates a rule, and I don’t like it” I’d recommend simply reporting and moving on.

Ok well maybe there is another method to achieve my goal. There is a dispute over an auction that I need a moderator to take a look at. How do I report it? Thanks for the help

You could have saved yourself the hour spent on that crap. I saw too late that you'd bid on it, otherwise you would have gotten it. But I gave it to someone else and I don't have any more items to trade. Should I give you some FG now or what?

You should have just left it alone since you didn't lose anything anyway. Your greed for bargains cost you a lot of time for nothing.

Every reputable auction house is founded by an essential rule: an auctioneer must make available the goods to be auctioned if the bidder was in compliance with the rules of the auction (in this case 10 minute auction, minimum bid met). Otherwise there is no credibility of the auction house. In d2jsp's self interest, it should adopt this standard.

Regardless, the seller in question did in fact violate bullet point six under "Illegal Trades" (https://forums.d2jsp.org/info.php?p=6) because he auctioned items that are he "doesn't have".

That is exactly the problem. I bid within the rules of your auction: 10 minutes, with my winning bid being placed at the 9 minute mark.

This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

But I had the items for 20 minutes; my friend sold them to someone later when I came back from eating.

Are you really trying to force a punishment on me even though you haven't lost anything and I haven't done anything to you?
Please close this topic and ignore it; he has roof damage.
