Hi all, this might be a beginner question, but I'm not fully sure why one of threads recently got closed.

To give some context: I do a lot of grushes which I start with a thread under respective service section. As people sign up, I edit the original thread, and when grush is one I edit it to indicate that this specific thread is finished and can be closed.

Occasionally, I do another grush right afterwards. To this end, I open a new thread because it would be quite challenging logistically to organize everything in thread from a previous rush. Obviously, the text / title of the thread would be the same but the thread itself would be different (similar to another trade I guess).

I would understand it to be an issue if the first thread didn't get any attention as the second thread would then circumvent the bump rule, but that didn't happen here as the first grush was completed. I also checked the treading rules, and it doesn't seem it would violate the bump rule since it was never the intent to bump the first thread in the first place. https://forums.d2jsp.org/info.php?p=6

It would be great if somebody could give some feedback and how to potentially prevent this in the future (I also don't want to violate any rules) - typically a grush takes also well under an hour. Any help / advise would be great - thx :)

A full 4 hours must pass between one topic offering the same thing and another one. Same as in the case of early bump. In your topics this time is shorter.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually tried to find that somewhere in the rules but I couldn't. Did I miss this somehow?

Essentially this would imply that one cannot do another trade once the first one is completed (within the 4h time frame). In the specific case of services/grushes, it would allow a rusher only to perform a single grush every four hours. In practice, this is certainly not what's happening, and it would be a somewhat artificial policy. One could even argue that it's not the same thing when (g)rushing different people with different needs.

Early Bump:
Posting 2 back-to-back posts in one thread before 4 hours.
Creating several threads to bypass the early bump rule.

the mod that closed it is wrong.

you can definitely post a new grush topic right after completing one.

Thanks. Yes but obviously it wasn't the same thread and a new topic/service, so not sure how this applies here. Also no intent to circumvent the bump rule since the old thread was completed. Based on the phrasing I'm also not really seeing why someone wouldn't be able to do the same trade again after completing a previous one. That's why I'm a bit confused and it seems contradictory to closing the thread.

Thanks, that's what I originally thought since it's a practice that mostly every rusher is doing (otherwise it would be very difficult to execute the logistics of the services to being with).

Why not post for transparency? This is an answer that would help explain things in general.

Can't count how many times I've seen this same thread posted.
