Dont get the 2ds, your better off with the new 3ds xl.

The 2ds xl is also a better and cheaper alternative.

But the new 3ds has a better screen and better speaker

Compared to the 2ds xl

Unless i'd recommend youtubing the difference.

I just bought a switch last week. I'm playing BotW, and it may be the best game I've ever played. I'm SUPER critical of all games, shows, movies etc... and this game has far surpassed my expectations. I'm not looking up anything, and I've mostly just wondered around aimlessly entertaining myself and cooking up random stuff. I've been able to kill every enemy I've come across now, which I was pretty pumped on, since they actually put some fairly difficult random encounter enemies in the game.

I also have a Nintendo Classic, I beat Ninja Gaiden, Contra, Mario1-3, Final Fantasy, Double Dragon, Zelda+Hard mode, Punch Out, Zelda 2, Ghost n Goblins. Still need to beat Metroid (never beat it before), Mega Man 2 (never played this before my classic), Star Tropics, Castlevania and Kirby's adventure. I've never been a Nintendo guy, I've always been Xbox/PS or PC, and now I have a Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and a decent PC, and I'm basically using the PS/Xbox has streaming devices right now, because I don't want to play anything but BotW.

BotW is fun at first, but there isn't much to do in terms of actual quests.

It's the regular 2ds or the new 3ds (non xl) for me imo.. I don't want a big screen I tried a xl b4 I didnt like it.

I of course would pick up the new 3ds but because I'm on the late train and only decided I'd want one cause of Metroid their's 0 stock that are new accross Canada. so if I want one it would have to be refurbished. Which I might do.. not sure.

I wouldn't recommend getting refurbished.

You never know what are the possible issues that came with the 3ds.

Scratch on screen / bad battery / chipping / etc etc.

Always buy brand new imo unless you know the person your buying from.

I have around 5 3ds and only 2 are " used "

My hyrule n3ds (which the l button is broken, knew before hand reason why i got it cheap)

Fire emblem awakening 3ds (no damage came from a collector)

Is there a reason you didnt like the big screen?

Everywhere I go I find something entertaining to do. Fuck the main storyline lol. Trying to find the damn master sword, but I keep finding other cool shit instead.

I owned a regular ds and I was all about it's lightness and how it fits in my pocket so well.

so basically I would barely notice if I had it with me, thinking a non xl new 3ds would be the same and I'd be good. though the new 2ds xl is a bit lighter but also the speakers are much different. 2ds isn't really travelable but it's very practical for just getting what I can of the rest of it's consoles life span. just no monster hunter or games similar to that cause no c-stick and slow processor.

it's basically a lotto for refurbs. or craigslist and hope for the best

Honestly if yiu were to get a n3ds or 2ds xl or any 3ds console.

I would definitly get a case, you have no ideal how many times it saved my 3ds from being destroyed.
