not to crazy about odyssey, i think im the world of desserts with 150ish stars?

playing through odyssey. Completed the story about a week ago and have just been collecting moons, at about 490 right now

Same. It's a fun game but doesn't suck me in like BOTW did. I've been collecting all the power moons I can on each world before moving onto the next without having completed the story yet. Kind of left the game sitting for a while while I play Shadow of War atm.

I think you guys are crazy. Odyssey is like a speedrun wet dream. The movement tech and control you have is amazing.

Not sure how a "speedrun wet dream" applies to enjoying the game lol. Might be the nostalgia talking but I liked collecting a specific star or shine based on what level you jumped in with SM64 and Sunshine. I'm not saying Odyssey sucks; it's good fun but I guess I'm looking for something else in a game. Still probably gonna end up beating it to 100% at some point.

its the same but with a shittons more maybe becuz u find them to easy to find atm but when u will have 10 or less per world u will work your ass off to find the lasts ones of each world u might get the feeling of sm64 or sunshine there

Oddysey is kinda boring in the sense that yes there is a shit ton of stars to collect

But atleast a good part of is is in the open with little to no effort of getting em, like oh you walked around a 8bit map heres a star oh you came out of the warp pipe leading to the 8bit star? Heres a star.

Try collecting specific moons in odyssey using creative methods instead of the way they want you to go. Look up an any% run or 253, they are super fun.

Idk what you mean by the way they want us to go. I just jump into a world and usually run around the entire map collecting as I go.

finished my second world tour im at 601 moons, now working on dark side n darker side of the moon after that im taking a break to finish south park fractured buttwhole
