Is it as simple as adding up the minimum and maximum damage and taking the higher of the two, or are there hidden factors (ie. less effectiveness after you outlevel a weapon)?

E: just realized I’ve been putting points into strength, so my sword probably remains the better choice regardless.

the way I look at it is -20% ee per tier. so to me that 45 sword would be comparable to 105% ee weapon.

depends what u statted, if u stat str whole time, use the sword, but if ur using staffs or axes, the dagger

Swords suck use the dagger

145ee lvl 45 equals 110ee lvl 55.
Now with more str the sword will work better but with the same stats the dagger will be better

Strength: 104
Dexterity: 52

you are overwhelmingly statted Strength

so, that this actually gives you is the following for ee

145 + (105*.75) vs 119 + .9(52)

224 vs 166

so if you lose ~25ee a level, that puts you at 175 vs 166.

Sword is better.

if you swapped to a dex charm, Dagger would be better and you would be happier with the dagger.

Dagger with dex gear > sword with str gear
