u can always catch up, if u have enough fg/pure luck.

beginner sets can cost from 1k-5k.

You can do that

Can't really catch up in prof/guild points etc because it takes too much time

Depending on your game style, you don’t even need that.
Also what are you hoping to accomplish here:

If you just want to get to lvl 71 and get the master quest and hopefully become samurai, you can probably join most groups with super weak gear, load up on vitality, and sit in the back row. If you can’t fight worth a shit, be chatty and not boring and hopefully the group will let you ride it out until lvl 71.

If you want to search for items and sell stuff you can do that at almost any lvl after lvl 5. Get as high of a level as you can where the killing is doable and not too difficult then keep killing off your character before you reach the next level. Sell off whatever seems valuable (you can ask us or if someone is nice I think there is a few threads out there that point out what has value and roughly what it’s worth). As you start to collect fg, you buy better ee gear closer to your current lvl so that you can get jogger in lvl and hopefully find higher lvl stuff that sells for more. Continue this until you finally hit lvl 71 +++ and you can either death farm or master quest and do it all over again.

If you like the stock market, you’re gonna love the in game marketplace
And also the trading forum here. Buy low…..sell high. And just like the stock market, lvl 25 whites that have no stats in them (this is just one example) you can buy them for 1 fg…..and the next day (usually when there is a well event) it will sell for 2-5 fg. But be warned. Just like the stock market, you may buy an item you thought was worth 100 fg (for example) and the next day, week, whatever it becomes less worthy.
Supply/demand…..etc……also you can sometimes get good deals (and sometimes even free help/items by making trade threads and posting in other people’s threads. But if you lowball (cough like somebody I know +1 Cartrack) be ready to get flamed for it.

Then there is fishing/muting where you can make essences or fish in the pond then sell off the fish or essences but this takes a lot more time and energy before you get fish/essences worth selling. But it is something to use up your time when you’re waiting on your guy to regen life/mana (also good idea to eventually get good regen gear so you can do this faster in town).

And just as an example of the kind of fg you can get just from selling whites and higher lvl muteables and lvl 5 essences just this month alone:

First advice: Create mules so that you can Transfer your items to them using the Marketplace. I noticed you only have one(1) character. Also, by doing this, you don't need to purchase a Vault (saves you some FG) and you can keep the items you have found/brought that are good for you to use in your next climb.

From here, even if you do a Master Quest (reaching level 71) and either Fail or Succeed, you have stored up your starter items to keep you going, dependent on passing and using the unlocked character of Samurai that has certain weapon restrictions.
