Hi!

I'm trying to get into LS as much as I can, but alas, I can't find much information on it, at least up-to-date ones (suffusencing? glyphing? lmao)

However, my main concern is the following: Is there a way to know roughly what is worth keeping and what is not? I've found a 35 EE heal of some sort, weapons with high life or mana (like a lvl 3-4 +150 mana staff), and yeah.. idk what to trash lol.

Any insight from fellow slashers? Thank you!

Basic Enhanced Effect (EE): Only applies to the item it is on:

Weapon = Damage
Armor = Defense
Cast charm = Damage (while casting the element from the charm, not weapon damage)
Heal charm = Heal capacity

Stat Items (str/dex/int/vita)

Vitality = basically useless no matter what item it is on.
Intelligence = increases casting/heal capacity
Strength = increases weapon damage (best for: Sword / Club / Axe / Longsword / Warhammer & Battleaxe)
Dexterity = increases weapon damage (best for: Dagger/ Staff / Axe / Spear / Polearm & Battleaxe)

Stat HARD points:

Vitality = increases Hit points, armor physical defense and for every 25 points = +1 Life Regen
Intelligence = increases Mana pool, armor magical defense and for every 25 points = +1 Mana Regen
Strength = increases weapon damage (best for: Sword / Club / Axe / Longsword / Warhammer & Battleaxe)
Dexterity = increases weapon damage (best for: Dagger/ Staff / Axe / Spear / Polearm & Battleaxe)

Note: Above are what people look for on items and can be sold as long as they are decent. Example of mods:
Stat mods increase by 5 points (maximum) per Tier ... so Tier III = +15 Stat (maximum UNLESS, overspawn which is 20).
EE mods increase by 20% (maximum) per Tier ... so Tier III = 60% EE (maximum UNLESS, overspawn which is 80)
... Overspawn items can only be found while using +Magic Luck items ... so hot commodity.

Since you are starting, the +Max Life / Mana are good for low levels until you get better gear.

Hope the basics here helps answer some questions.

what is worth and what not to keep it can help the max stat grafic list, maybe someone can upload it here. it will take a bit time to find out what is good to sell and what to trash. do a check on the market to see what others sell, that can be a good start into the selling thing.

when you play with someone in group maybe he can help you as well, the most here have more or less knowing.

when happends iam online you can whisper me ingame type command /msg *inkarnon msg , for questions when you unsure about an item.

welcome and good luck

Max stats per tier (level) of item will be helpful to know once you get the basics underway. See image at bottom.

As Rex (izParagonzi) said, max life is helpful early on, at least on armor and charm. Weapon you will want Enhanced Effect (think Enhanced damage from d2)

Later you may want Enhanced Effect on armor too (think Enhanced defense) and a charm that adds to strength or dexterity, depending on what kind of weapon you are using. Some prefer a stat armor (str or dex), this is up to you, survivability vs more damage.

This is all based on melee. Casting is a bit different but the principles are the same.

Upgrade when you can. A level 1 weapon is basically useless after so many levels, same for armor and charm.
