first of mage is not the best beginner class ... you might wanna reroll for fighter or barb those are alot less gear required

for mage go ~40/45 vita // rest intel

for mage go pillar/pierce and power cast ( first go piller+pierce till both are aorund 40-50% or so then 2-3 points in power and then go piller or pierce )


you need for low lvls ( like 0 -15 ) mana on your gear so you can cast a few times
lvl 20+ you want intel on your weapon and amor
main slot ( left caster slot ) you want the dmg charm
acc slot ( right caster slot ) you want your heal charm



at lvl 20 your gear should have 25+ int and 100+ ee to be efficient

only items which are worth something are 15+ str/dex/int or 80+ ee ( + rarer stats like extra slot 4+ or 3+ magic luck )
