little question. does my inventory grow or is this allways at a 8 item limit?

You can either xplore the maze which is a quest needs to be done (increases your slots +1 to 2 Item)
Or you need to have equipment which includes extra equipment slots

Also you can buy vault slots and use that as extra inventory. U can use the vault while you are in a maze by pressing v
