Hey Folks,

I am trying to beat respawning Slugslides from Level 30-38 now without any success…
Even if I keep shrining myself to respawn immediately with full HP, I can never beat all of them.

It’s my first time playing LS; I am solo 38 atm.

buy better gear
any weap/arm with 50ee+ on your lvl. check mp probably youll find something for 5fg or cheaper
and any charm with str or dex as high as posbile. ppl all the time sell those for cheap

When I encounter these mobs on hc at high level I usually leave catacombs and make a new game, either hit the logout, and re-enter. You do lose your map progress but can continue on in new game.

Similar to jaku suggestions I would look for a charm with dex or strength that you can use, it will add damage while using your axe.

If you are willing to spend some forum gold there is a decent level 25 you can use on the market



/e looks like you bought some nicer lvl 30 stuff, that should make it easier.

What I do is weaken em all and town. Eventually when you can kill multi at once
Do it and town asap..
Regen. And try again and again
Or ask someone to help.

Honestly mid levels shouldn't be an issue if you gear up like others said even with mediocre stuff

Glad you got great advice, as for myself, I try to kill them off, similarity to Outrageds method. There are some differences.

#1 As soon as you see a Slugslider or Gigabee, you attack and try to kill it off first, if it spawns (calls forth) I...
#2 Stop attacking the first one and try to kill off before that one calls for help ... repeat if this continues.
#3 This is a Note: if any of the Slugsliders start healing, kill it off completely even if another one spawns.
#4 Whittle them down to a few pixels, you can tell your avg damage, go to town, regen, repeat, then kill them off as fast as possible.

Note: if they spawn another one of two, ensure to kill off as much of the others and kill of any healers again... sometimes it gets tedious.

Oh... if I am not in the mood with them, I just remake a new game like others.

What build are you doing? I started recently and was putting points into stats and skills that didn't make sense (i.e. multitarget when only playing solo). I found a guide for knight/barb that is basically 100 vit first then str and pumping all points into single target skills (powerstrike and retribution). There are many to choose from if you browse around on the "Character Builds" sub-forum. I re-rolled and it has been going much better this time around. Just got to level 56 with a barb after spending about 80fg so far (and breaking even selling on the MP).

Actually I find it very stupid that in solo games sometimes you have to fight 6+ of them.

Thanks. I made the same mistake and now I am close to Level 50 with a strange skilled barb XD.
I might also re-roll it.
