I played back during release. Did a few MQ. It's just completely inaccessible for returning or new players. Also not being able to play on mobile is sort of ridiculous in today's age.

There are guilds that offer gear and FG to new players for MQ. They also do guild only climbs. It is for sure expensive to be a high level player but that is just how the game is. But to be a normal player starting out, it just takes a little bit like all games.

I guess that makes sense. The game has changed drastically since I last opened it up. Would feel bad mooching gear off people.

There are people with so much gear that they would gladly lend them out if it means you would be playing the game. You should never feel bad

That's good to know. Because some of the prices for gear is astronomical.

For usable gear, its not expensive at all..

When you're trying to get the top 1% gear. Thats where its nearly impossible

Not trying to be #1 and reset every season. Would be nice to play again. Attempt some MQ. Fishing!?! For what?

Even with your fg, you should be fine starting out as barb.
Buy low/mid clubs, str/ee armors, str charms of mp for low fg amounts. Then invest ~ 200fg on 100+ ee mq club, ~150fg on mq 100+ee heavy armor, and ~50fg on str mq charm.

Sell muteables/whites on mp - i guess you can make at least 200fg per climb.
I do play from cellphone only, maybe not perfect, need to be careful sometimes with clicking/dragging things. But it is definitely playable.
