Only works on melee I believe

Works for Charms as well. This got introduced a long time ago along with Critical Strike. Power Strike Shot doesn't work with charms I believe.

Armor Pierce as stated by Disney is melee only.
Mind Numb is kind of the casting equivalent as lowered mob in = less mob Magical defense

- Gives you a % chance to ignore targets defense (damage absorption) when you score a physical attack.

AP works for both, as an attack and not a physical hit as u stated.
MN only works for casters

QD only for melee
PS only for melee
GB only for melee
and so on

Well, sounds like a bug then. Can see Paul clearly wants it to only work for melee from that topic. Otherwise the word physical would not be used

How old info are u basing that from?

This is the last updated version of AP

Nowhere does it mention physical

Well the only way for us to really know if it works or not for either part I guess if we can get a colored line for AP / MN etc to know when that actually triggers

This was posted in 2006. In the current portal it says % chance to ignore target defense.

Well, nowhere does it mention that armor pierce was updated to do both magical and physical. Arguably should be same as from implementation.



To be honest from averages i'd be able to figure it out, however this takes me significant amounts of time to complete testing.
It's also less clear cut than some of my other testing such as critical hits.
Very doable though.
