I am not a computer expert. Not by any means
Nor am I a programmer guru.
However, I like to think of myself as being logical
When something changes my playing capability, I look at what has recently occurred.
1 -- I have not changed my provider
2 - I have not changed my computer
3 - I have not altered/changed any passwords or anything similar
4 - I have not changed my search engine
5 - I have been getting more disconnects now than I ever had before the updates.
Sounds logical to me that the disconnect issue may not be located at my end of the food chain
So one would logically ask "what changed?" I have already answered this; all sockets go through Cloudflare now (since the first rewrite.)
If you used logic, you would also be able to correlate that if the
LS server is disconnecting people,
it would do it to everyone (network fault). This is the fourth time now that I've said this in the last 10 replies to this topic. I will not be replying any further to disconnect related posts.
Also you should be aware that at any given moment in time, ANY number of components could be changing at datacenters worldwide, whether through failures, outages, cable cuts, DDoS/DoS attacks, congestion, or many other reasons that can make your connection suddenly no longer be perfect to a given target destination. You don't have a single direct line and connection from you to d2jsp, it travels through many (often
dozens) of routers and datacenters before it reaches d2jsp. That is a lot of possible points of failure. That's how the internet "works". If you're interested in more, read up on it and learn more about it, because I'm not going to argue with you about something you do not understand or know anything about.
