Doublestrike was nerfed because of the description "hits two targets". Why do double-strike monsters still double hit me in solo? Their abilities should be null.

Many of us have gotten it no problem.

Turn easy mode off:
/set easy 0

Turn easy mode on:
/set easy 1


So pinch of evil was always a solo capable quest and now it is a group one. I wouldn't mind having other quests being duo necessary if some of the quests like 7 shamans were duo also :D . It's sometimes a pain in the butt to find 2 other people or even 3 other people to help look for a quest. Finding 1 person is viable though.

The ability to make fg on Ladder Slasher would bring in new players and further more more fg into the Ladder Slasher community. As it is now a lot of fg gained or that could be spent on Ladder Slasher is lost in bnp.
Just a thought. Idk I barely have time to play anymore.


i see a few issues merging beta into live

duplicate names on beta as live
many people would end up with too many characters
duplicate item numbers

a third core that at ladder reset items/characters are deleted/merged into sc is a neat idea but i think it would dilute the player base more than it would attract new peeps.
also i think keeping people invested makes them more likely to stay around or come back after they have spent time away.

When all the changes goes live, Paul thinks about keeping the beta up for further testing, but that server will be what it is right now, so once phase2 starts (all live gear comes over to beta) the stuff that we have right now will be saved as a copy, and we will all have our live-stuff on beta instead for easier testing.

BUT once that phase 2 is over, the copy that was saved with the stuff that's on the beta right now will be installed again, and all our live stuff will not stay on beta.
and i dont think that if u find anything on the beta that it would ever be posible sending that over to live-version (posible? yea most likely, but impletemented? No)

On your priority list, where does mobile app gui (chrome) sit? I haven't tested it on live, I expect it to be the same, but I don't think you are focusing on client side at the moment?

There are little things that currently impact the user experience (work arounds exist), I can document them.

This seems terrible. Having 2 servers up permanently would suck. I would have to constantly choose between one or the other. If I started focusing more on the beta "ladder" server I would abandon my main server and sure it would be fun but I'd lose all the progress I've worked so hard to acquire. It would split the small community we have into 2. The beta server would be focused on new players interested in making fg and not necessarily interested in the game itself. It would be very weird to have 2 of the same exact game up and have to choose between them.

The beta server right now seems to be so fast for me. Much more responsive than the live one. I like that a lot. Paul did say that this will be the norm once the transition happens. I can't wait :) !

I was welling with Stormie and I wanted to use on him glyph and glyph start not on him but on me. He also tried to use glyph on me and same problem.
and I decided to test fishes and comfeys too and works ok, only glyphs problem
