do you lose a % of your cooking/fishing proficiency when you die? or is it different than your weapons/charms ?

I have a little suggestion for your plans, which you've possibly put on the drawing board already...

Make special fish which have magical auras around them that grant temporary bonuses such as more critical hit % / life regen / armor / attack /etc...

Are you supposed to be able to find things other than fish? I just found an armor....

Yes thats normal. Other news, rank 2 fishing and rank 99999 anger. I can't possibly see how this can be worth what it is. Been cataing, no rods, Don't know if the proficiency is helping me but I can only tackle a lvl 3 fish if i'm lucky, and i don't know if i gain xp per kill or per damage, (so far i'm guessing kill) which means more then half the time is wasted. As for Paul killing a lvl 5 fish, that must've been epic luck either way totally not worth it. urge to smash my head agains't wall rising.. must..kill....catch...fishes....nrgmgnruhhhghh. end rant

Can anyone give a brief synopsis of what we know about fishing so far? Here's what I know:

1) The difference between hooking a level 1 fish and a level 3 fish is negligible, and a lot harder.
2) Some of the rods on the market have a proficiency rating of 10. That's a lot of fishing.

I finally figured out that mad clicking isnt the best idea. It's turn based, and you get a few seconds to hit the snag counter.

If you break a pole (a good one) is it destroyed?

Anyone figure out how much durability helps poles?

Paul, any chance you would allow Jubilance to take effect while fishing? It would give me something to do for the next week.
