I'll try and give at least 12-24 hours notice before we're going to be phase 2. At a minimum, that would be Thursday, but I may push it back to Monday to let as many people get to MQ as want to. Chests are random, like everything, and can spawn not fantastic, just like EPs, wells, or anything. The values will for sure be better on average than they were before, just statistically speaking, with the new tier algorithm.
Have you considered keeping the beta live as well? Merge it with sc if / when it resets and continue testing new / trial content, if you intend to continue working on such things. Even if not it would still be a pretty good idea imo. Reasons being:
Gives a huge market for Ladder Slasher for players to start from scratch and grind gear sets or make fg from their finds. (I know many names match sc so merger would be flawed. Items can be all xfered over from the beta server and placed in the sc vault)
Last season sc reset way too fast. 2 months and a few days in. This would slow that down a bit more and give players who wouldn't prefer to play on a server that resets so quickly. I know Hardcore exists, but there is much more risk for not much more gain or reward.
Adds that extra degree of difficulty that we fail to appreciate on sc because its too easy.
The ability to make fg on Ladder Slasher would bring in new players and further more more fg into the Ladder Slasher community. As it is now a lot of fg gained or that could be spent on Ladder Slasher is lost in bnp.
