No brainer from me.

Voted Guardian (Feeder)

Really... most unlocked character classes after a Feeder class practically starts with an additional 5 stat points in a random stat. Also, if you unlock another class... you get another 5 stat points in a random stat until Warlock+. However, the stats have a set value based on their class.

All Feeder Classes has a maximum of 150 stats total between Str / Dex / Int and Vitality. Here are two Feeder Class stats at the start without the +10 starting stats you can allocate based on your preference:

Barbarian:
Str 60 / Dex 25 / Int 5 / Vi 60 = 150
Guardian:
Str 30 / Dex 10 / Int 55 / Vi 55 = 150

Samurai:
Str 45 / Dex 50 / Int 10 / Vi 50 = 155

Paladin:
Str 55 / Dex 30 / Int 20 / Vi 55 = 160

Monk:
Str 40 / Dex 65 / Int 20 / Vi 40 = 165

Ninja:
Str 40 / Dex 70 / Int 15 / Vi 45 = 170

Warlock:
Str 15 / Dex 45 / Int 75 / Vi 35 = 170

Headhunter:
Str 55 / Dex 75 / Int 5 / Vi 35 = 170

Alchemist:
Str 10 / Dex 40 / Int 110 / Vi 15 = 175

There is only one(1) hardcore fact... the Alchemist is the worst character class because it can not wield a Weapon, thus losing 30-60 +int damage from a staff in comparison to a Warlock that only has a 170 starting stats vs the 175 starting stats with an alchemist ... and a Warlock has more hit ponts based on the extra 20 into Vitality.

Basically... you choose for yourself ... for me... Guardian has more def and +stats make up for the damage lost with Heavy weapons that automatically deal 100% base damage etc.

Warlock for sure. Alchemist is a close 2nd. The 45 extra int covers the no wep slot and since my mq Is a 43 int it feels the same. Minus the vit early but that's easy to cover with some hp gear.

Now for melee it's headhunter and not even close. Felt just as good as caster exploring to mq. Just slower because needing to shrine.

Offcasting felt lackluster but prolly would be ok with above average gear.

So warlock-alch-hh

I'm not sure how alchemist is the worst class because of the inability of a weapon. You aren't factoring in class abilities at all. Or the fact that strength and dexterity have 0 impact on alchemist since you can't use a weapon. So listing 175 starting stats is pointless.

Hmm ... I guess I will just state the obvious between a Warlock vs Alchemist using base stats, but the weapon having +50 Intelligence:

Warlock:
Str 15 / Dex 45 / Int 75 / Vi 35 = 170 (+50 Int Weapon = 125 Int)

Alchemist:
Str 10 / Dex 40 / Int 110 / Vi 15 = 175 (can not use +50 int weapon = 110 Int)

... Note: the Alchemist has less Hit points and can DIE easier (less 20 vitality)

So to answer your question... it has NOTHING to do with Strength or Dexterity ... how about comparing a Mage with a + 50 Int Weapon?

Mage:
Str 20 / Dex 50 / Int 60 / Vi 20 (+50 Int Weapon = 110 Int)

Alchemist:
Str 10 / Dex 40 / Int 110 / Vi 15 = 175 (can not use +50 int weapon = 110 Int)

... Note: they both have the same Intelligence, however the Mage has more Hitpoints.

Again... has nothing to do with Strength or Dexterity, however... those that can hold a weapon can attack any Immune Magical monsters and deal damage.

It is just perspective really... the Alchemist is a crap class because it has to get to level 85 to Master Quest, however, we all know that Robes are awesome for defense. (sorry... just me being an ass)
