Definite bug found.

Found a tier 3 rod. Equipped it. Wouldn't let me use. (Off, only lvl 1,). So I unequipped it. It went back into my inventory. Then it would allow me to fish. I fished until my snag reel went to zero... Then it told me my rod snapped, even though I wasn't a) didn't have it equipped, and b.) Wasn't getting bonuses from having the rod at all.

Doublestrike ability is not working the same way that it works on the live version.

On the live version you can use it to hit 1 mob twice. On the beta it only works on 2+ targets.

Not sure if this is intentional or not.

It's actually fixed now. As the description says, "hits two targets".

Will check into the fishing rod thing tomorrow. You can usually equip rods outside what it says you can on the client, just like on live.

Is there a minimum amount on monsters exp drop? It feels really draining killing 2-3 monsters and not even getting 1%.

I'm just trying to think of ways to make solo/duo more fun. This seems like one of them. It takes a few seconds to boogie around the maze, then a little while to slaughter 2-3 guys and I still didn't even move a percent? Blah.

I don't want heaps of "boss monsters" like we've discussed before. But is there anything we can do to make it a bit more fun? Maybe others feel like this too?

Also, maybe trying to confirm or deny the morphing stats bug as reported by Plaguefear. That would be a pretty catastrophic kind of bug to have floating around.


I still have both items in my vault, only happened to my life regen items, will try to replicate it when I get home.

Sounds like you're in a lower level map. I haven't had those issues soloing in catacombs. Monster level is capped to the map level in maps.

I just had 20 xp from glyphing go to fishing and I haven't fished at all. I have 3 glyphs on my character. The first i got 8 xp then the last 2 I got 10 each but still only have 8 glyph xp. Just happened again. The words +8 glyphing show up but the +8 went to fishing prof with the table pulled up on my screen.

Looks like fishing likes to steal prof!

Can you think of anything you might have done just before the bug?

Rare alloy plate mail, Physical Defense: 20 to 61, Magical Defense: 0 to 6, +11 Life Regen, +2 Jubilance

This is the plate that rolled higher regen suddenly paul, it is an overspawn now.
