Using that logic computers were originally used as calculating devices.....yet they evolved just like phones. So I still fail to see how, using your logic, LS is not considered a mobile game.

Edit: also my stereo evolved as well....to an iPod.....which I no longer call it a stereo since I listen to music on it; it’s now called an iPod

wrong... so you can dial a number of a cellphone or landline on a computer and talk to them? think more.

EDIT: what is funnier is someone using "evolved" logic to "basic" terminology. Think about it, your wording was "phone"... come on, get better.

Actually yes...you CAN dial a number of a cellphone or landline from a computer. Most telemarketers do this

:roflmao: that is a computer software, you can NOT literally dial the number from your computer, a telemarketer uses the information displayed on the screen and calls the number that is listed unless (UNLESS) the software uses a recorded message that the software plays when the phone call is connected. Don't bother arguing back about this, I did 10 years with database fax broadcasting for B2B (Business to Business), and worked with telemarketing companies for a total of 8 years.

EDIT: oh, forgot to mention... the Fax Broadcasting company dealt with New Zealand and Australia databases while working and living in NZ... we would have gone to other countries, but then the recession hit and our company downsized drastically.

#2 Damn still bored and posting basics... need to get more drunk.

Almost every computer function is software.....same goes for iPhones. Still confused how all this info proves that LS is not a mobile game......

Edit would be nice to get others opinions on this as well.....other than myself and izparagonzi 🤡

Just get on your PC and use the numpad to dial up a landline outside of your area code (excluding 0800 / 0900 numbers or whatever freephone numbers you use in your country). Yup you need some form of software and hardware to accomplish this on your computer outside of VOIP function ... now, do the same from a phone and see which does the job easier.

Basics are just basics.

EDIT: basically you are just talking about accessories on your phone to play a game, watch a movie/TV show etc as long as you can connect to the internet, if your cellphone can not connect to the internet, you can not play games... simple bud, but you can still call someone up or send a text using your cellphone... and vice versa for PC connecting to a phone line, there still is a difference trying to use accessories from your PC to chat on a phoneline ... simple enough.

Back on topic.

Maybe some of the questions / answers written here; https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54909597/websocket-disconnects-with-1006-error-without-a-reason can answer a lot of questions to disconnects.

It does seem that most of the disconnects are client side, BUT it does NOT say that the server isn't responsible either. Noted they were talking about another game that proved the server wasn't the issue.

Who gives a shit if its client side or server side causing the issue. Point is the issue is there and it needs to be fixed. Whether catacomb/skilling save states or just fixing 1006s altogether. Yesterday was terrible for 1006's. While its a inconvenience in some parts of the game, its game breaking in other parts like mirror maze or just losing an explored maze in general.

Your post is extremely funny. You post like "Captain Obvious";

"Who gives a shit if its client side or server side causing the issue." and then you post; "Point is the issue is there and it needs to be fixed." and so on.

How about you just clean up any "Client side" issues first and see if you get less "Disconnected 1006" issues first, then if it happens, you may get LESS disconnects, now, if everyone did this on LS and it still occurs, then it maybe "Server Side" where Paul can make adjustments.

Whether he does is another matter... so work on "mobile" issues and also "PC" issues from client side, and if it keeps on occurring, then it is server side.

EDIT: change browsers or browsing settings to keep active while window/tab is open (note; I have woken up from a 4+ hour sleep and I am still in game without any disconnection)

Can I ask you a simple question.

Did you close your "window" or "tab" and re log onto Ladder Slasher to continue on?

Note: I will always close the "window" / "tab" and re log on to LS and continue gaming, 99% of the time I do this fixes the issue, whereas when I don't, I get more disconnects (1006)

EDIT: trying to find similarities to identify any issue that causes 1006 disconnects.
