i didn't get it till hardcore, now i can't really get enough of it. I also in general recommend at least 100 vita and to use strength armors.

tbh not really for newer players, at least you only fight 1-2 mobs at a time, 2 players goes upto 5.
the main recommendation is replacing your weapon as often as possible. a level 30 weapon with 40 ee does less than any old level 45 weapon with 0%ee, and a heck of a lot less than a level 45 weapon with 40% ee.

In what sense? as you keep the gear but the entire idea about ladder slasher is to reach level 71 or the MQ level, attempt the MQ which will then reset your level to 1.
Level 55 is the last level in which you can have new gear. So this limits what level you can reach other than by cheesing the level ups.
On a season reset which "should" be nearby, you keep all gear and proficiency but will get reset to level 1 and if you've unlocked any characters, this will also be reset to the initial choices.
A season resets when a player completes the master quest with the final unlocked character alchemist. There's a 1 in 720 chance of each alchemist attempt for them to pass. Currently this season has had over 1000 attempts which is more than the last 6 or so combined have had.
