Is this based only on the number of mobs you kill?
Wouldn't it be possible to reroll your char over and over again and lvl your Proficiency on the low lvls and then go for a climb?
And do you need to kill more mobs the higher your lvl already is?

[edit] I am asking this because your char is lvl 5 and has +1 in sword proficiency

They already have their drop rates so low.

And after mq, the profficiency is to be resetted, right ?
