I work in customer service / retail. Many Karen’s.

In general it’s men or women aging from 35-60 who think they know every process of every business inside out and try to tell me how the business operates (always wrong). They also tend to word vomit out some made up “law” that I must give them items free etc or I’ll be fired (wrong).

I pretty much just tell them to lower their voice and calm down (they don’t tend to enjoy that) followed by asking them to provide me with the law or tell them to call the cops.
They normally back down or start yelling - if they yell I just ask them to leave or I’ll call the cops.

Young people (age 20-30) are easily the most reasonable.

It isn’t something people want to remember.
