I have a great idea when it comes to d2 trading.
Since we have a massive influx of new players and most dont understand trade terms and simply make shit up its confusing.
jsp for years has used: iso ft pc
its simple effective elegant and gets the point across. newer players double tag the posts they make and it just looks ugly and has the potential for confusion, (if you do double tag at least used the same tag as post your making example: thread type: FT: ap enigma ft)
so I think there needs to be a global thread on how to make trade posts, adding keywords for user search, how to tag items (hoz not Herald of Zakarum), how and why to look up last few trades of an item to get a todays average last traded price and cleaner thread names that are not redundant.
example:
thread type: FT [
O nigma brg fg]
thread type: ISO [
LF Herald of Zakarum]
thread type: FT [
TWB Herald of Zakarum]
cleaner changes:
thread type: FT [ nigma fg ]
thread type: ISO [ brg hoz ]
thread type: FT [ unid hoz ft ]
reminding people about past price guides
https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=73840075its still the same game just reskinned, sure the prices are different but the wanted items are the same and it gives a foundation for newer players to work from and understand what items are useful for trades and why instead of posting :
3fire 20 hp magic amulet 4 JAH
(it wont work because lets face it a 3 fire magic is not worth a jah go home your drunk)
it would also be helpful if there was a item guide on item stat short hand
you have a rare amulet: 2 fire / 3 min / 29 str / 30 cr / 38 pr is easer to type then:
2 fire skills (sorc) / 3 to minimum damage / 29 strength / 29 cold resistance / 38 poison resistance
also a item skin global stickie because west had different names and so did eu / east
