I used to sell tons of socket accounts, with no problems at all. years of them. you can get scanned at anything in this game, a socket account is only worth 80fg tops....

There are so many problems with account trades like these - especially the chance of being banned for something that you didn't even do.

You could easily be completely innocent and trading accounts that are legit, but you end up trading an account to somebody who also bought an account that wasn't so legit the week before. This buyer gets banned on all accounts, and now since you were the last person he bought an account from, you have a S/A accusation for selling bad accounts. I know it's a bit out there, but it's a complete possibility if account trades are 'legalized' for lack of a better term

It's just so messy and especially for things like socket quests - if you're trustworthy enough to argue that your accounts 100% will never cause an issue, you're trustworthy enough to hold an item to socket and give it back in good faith

E/ To be clear, on account leveling services worry me just as much - it's always a possibility something goes wrong

It All can create problems, so why is on account leveling legal then? Why cant i make a no email attached account, only worth 80fg (on account leveling is upwords of 2,500fg) This conversation keeps going round and round. Am i wasting my time with this? LOL.

There are too many issues when it comes to account sales.

1. The account can be sold as "unregistered" but they are actually registered or even double registered.
2. Selling an account that was used in botting, etc and after the sale the account gets closed.

These are the most common issues and they can be hard to determine where the fault lies.
Since on account leveling is allowed again, there is really no point in allowing account sales.

How about only legalize accounts with changeable email?
