Voted no.
This is probably the worst idea, you have posted, and that is saying alot.
Users block people to be rid of them and their nonsense for good, not put them on a timer, just to have them start back with their antics.

I think some people just need a chance to breathe, calm down, wise up, etc. I have also seen people use the non-site feature post blocker then change there mind about that on specific users.
IMHO the main reasons I find to block someone is because I don't want to deal with them and the subject of interest has nothing really to do with the conversation. IE it is a waste of time and the purpose is ill-intent. While having thousands of conversations with a true variety of individuals on d2jsp.org myself, I find I do not have to block people forever as they are people and people want to co-exist. From my experience it is mostly a time thing and if not then features and more are already implemented for such instance.
Nowadays I don't have to block anyone, and if they are someone I blocked in the past they have learned better and for whatever reasons. So I do feel in some way giving a timer option is in some cases giving a chance to better the site and in the direction that blocking does not have to be forever. I think in some cases people could also exercise ideas like
Words of Wisdom or something similar if this site suggestion was to be implemented.
