Yes I was referring to the idea of banning a particular persons from seeing/posting any of your threads. I get that they can still see other threads still.

Also another thought is I see a thread every now and then saying don’t trade with so and so he did this or that, and usually there’s no proof either way. But if we had this system it’s likely that everyone is just gonna block that person “just to be safe” cause come on no one wants to be scammed. Make no mistake scammers desire what they get, but false accusations are a thing sadly, turn on the news it happens in rl too. It’s just a dangerous system to put into place

I like the idea but I think that it would need a lot of work from current members to monitor it and make sure people are not abusing it. If its possible to have rules like they have to be on your blocked list and or have to be reported for spam a number of times to be taken out of a thread. There are much more variables that would have to be added to make this work right and with that being said it is just as easy to just ignore people that are being stupid in your thread and move on. I have traded very heavy at one point on this forum and had an issue with certain ppl all the time I just reported and ignored so I voted no sorry

Yes, you can ignore them. This is just an option. Maybe a limited block list on your threads. Regardless, if in real life i don't want someone in my restaurant do to harassment reasons, i'm allowed to have them banned from my restaurant. (I know RL has nothing to do with gaming forums) My point is, my thread is my shop, i should be able to have it so people who have harassed me in the past are not allowed in my threads.

Now that is what I mean if it was because they were harassing you yes this feature would be for the best and yes limited block list I think would also need to be put in place so it does not get abused. And yes it's not like real life so I get what you mean and I totally agree with that.

Paul is the owner of the site though. You only "own" a thread on his site, which can be closed by any moderator so the ownership here is very questionable.
Banning people from your restaurant is like banning people from your website.

It's like people came into your restaurant and started banning others from their tables which have room for a lot of others.
All of sudden it doesn't make that much sense, but that is what you are suggesting here.

And restaurants are usually owned by someone else that isn't running the restaurant and they can close the restaurant down whenever they feel like it. But the people working in the restaurant matter, and if they're being harassed by people that aren't even customers, they have a rite to ban those people from the restaurant, it does not effect business whatsoever. I've had to ban people from my restaurants for stalking my servers. Has it effected business? No.

You're also assuming that people are gonna ban entire servers from their threads, from what it seems you were suggesting. Which i highly doubt would ever happen. This is for personal conflicts, which for a single person, don't happen every single day.
