I don't think it's really necessary. As mentioned before, I don't think there has been that much of an issue with topic titles where this would be needed. FTs an ISO titles, only need to be short and sweet. If anything else is needed, put it in the OP. Point comes across just the same with or without punction; in any language.

The way I see it, there’s two options

1) it can’t be done due to technical issue
2) theres literally no reason not to if can be done

It’s a minor inconvenience to most sure, but its a hard barrier to some

I am not quite understanding why it would be that much of a necessity. Respectfully.

Not a necessity for some of course but it feels dumb that you can type a proper sentence into a title and get kicked back. That to me seems more unnecessary than just simply allowing it.

Name one other online resource where you cannot use an apostrophe 🤣

This and other technical issues is what I would assume this is no longer an option.
