GSP is the greatest of all time, there's no doubt about it - Firas Zahabi
(GEORGES ST-PIERRE is the greatest fighter to have ever competed in mixed martial arts, his head coach Firas Zahabi has claimed.)

St-Pierre has knocked off some of the biggest names in the history of the UFC's welterweight division during his legendary career, including UFC hall-of-famers Matt Hughes and BJ Penn.

In that time, St-Pierre claimed the 170lbs title twice before stepping up in weight last November to challenge for the middleweight crown, which he ripped from Michael Bisping's clutches in the main event of UFC 217 with an emphatic third-round submission victory.

The general consensus in the MMA world after that historic night at Madison Square Garden, which saw St-Pierre compete for the first time in nearly four years, was that the Canadian had become the best fighter to ever set foot inside the Octagon.

Zahabi agrees with that notion wholeheartedly and believes there isn't a fighter on the planet who comes close to matching 'GSP's' resume.

“He’s No. 1, no doubt about it,” Zahabi told Fight Hub TV. “Who else could there be? Give me a name.

“Conor [McGregor] hasn’t defended a title. [Fedor] had too many losses.

"[Anderson Silva] had too many losses and you know what happened. The testing didn’t go well. [Jon Jones] - testing. There’s nobody else! There’s nobody else.

He’s No. 1, no doubt about it
Georges St-Pierre's head coach Firas Zahabi
“I’m not just saying that because I train him. Put me aside, the guy is the greatest martial artist of all-time. That’s it. He did it. Let’s give him his due props.

“He worked for it, he deserves it. If another name comes along that does more than what he did, I’ll be happy to say that there’s a new best of all time.

“Before the testing, and all the losses happened, I would say he was one of the best of all time.

Firas Zahabi reckons Georges St-Pierre is the greatest fighter of all time
“Now I’m telling you he is THE best of all time. That’s just the way it is. After the tests come back the way they did the losses happened the way they did, the hands were dealt the way they were, now the best of all time, today, is GSP. No doubt about it.”

St-Pierre, 36, hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon since ending Bisping’s reign at the summit of the UFC's middleweight division.

His tenure as middleweight champion came to an end 33 days after his 26th career victory when he vacated the 185lbs title, a decision he made due to his ongoing bout of ulcerative colitis.[

His Georges is the best ever.

Hard to argue with the facts. Captured the MW belt after a long lay off, on top of his impressive resume before that.

Every other fighter in the equation either lost too many or are juiceheads.

It is so obvious that my Georges is alone at the top of the mma mountain. He's the king, the best ever, the only GOAT, period

Let’s first consider candidates:

GSP
Anderson Silva
Jon Jones
Demetrius Johnson
Jose Aldo
I think its fair to consider that each of those fighters are GOATs in their respective divisions but there are few things that differ GSP from other candidates here.

Fought at different weight class and won the belt there. Demetrius fought at BW but was not that good there. Anderson had few fights at LHW but consistently refused to fight Jon Jones. Aldo and Jones did not even try.
Level of opposition. What makes GSP very different from everyone else here is that GSP crashed some fighters who are also in top 20 of all time discussion AT THEIR PEAK and those fights were not even competitive. Wins like Matt Hughes, BJ Penn, Carlos Condit. He crashed Jon Fitch when the guy crashed everyone else, winning 50–43 decision. Guys like Koscheck, Diaz, Hendricks, Alves were also all really good at the time. Yes, sure, Anderson beat Henderson and Belfort, but who else. Jones beat Cormier and Rua, but everyone else was old when he fought them, plus he has huge size advantage.
The range of tools. This guy will destroy you at your own game. Out-struck Diaz, Bisping and Condit. Out-wrestled Koscheck and Fitch. Out-grappled BJ Penn. Jon Jones does that too, sure, but Jones is just very physically gifted, many people will agree that Jones striking from a technical standpoint is not even technical. He does not even throw a punch properly. While GSP is technically flawless.
Never been busted for steroids, in fact campaigned against them. Jones got busted twice. Anderson twice.
Defeated everyone he ever fought. In this list only Jones has the same accomplishment.
Thus GSP is the UFC and MMA GOAT (Imo Fedor does not match his accomplishments either).

Therefore, there is only one GOAT and his name is GEORGES SAINT-PIERRE

Its a privilege for us, mma fans from this era, to witness the greatest of all time in from of our eyes, Period !
