when you look at his last 10 fights. or even 5. there all bums. or people that cant beat jones ( dc ). its going to take a big dude who punches hard. and jones over the last few years has really gone hard on stand up. hes going to stand with him for sure.

Jon Jones fight IQ far exceeds this gorilla monkey type of guy. Jones is smart and he’s not just a straight up banger like diego sanchez (for example)

Even though Santos is explosive, I think his KO power is somewhat overrated. He is a small LHW, sure he is explosive but it ain't Anthony Johnson like and Jones has shown to have a good chin.

I think what will happen is a Jones waiting for Santos to come out guns blazing (Santos' only path to victory) and immediately look for the clinch. Best case scenario for Santos is if Jones is looking to sneak in a short elbow in the clinch or throw a spinning elbow. If Jones is disciplined though, he will only use his Greco-Roman and patiently look for an upper-body takedown in the clinch while grinding out Santos at the same time and taking his explosiveness away. The difference in size and in their wrestling skills is going to force Santos to commit all of his energy and attention to defend the takedown. I can't see it going pretty for Santos if Jones sticks to his wrestling in the first round.
