Hey guys,

I’ve researched a little about player count and item farming
It seems that player 3, 5, and player 7 count are the trigger points..
The speed for me isnt much of problem, but my question is, should i run 2 games with 3 players, to get more items?? Again, speed to kill mobs doesnt increase by much for me.
Or
Is running 1 game with 7 player count increase the chance to get that GG item?

Thanks!

Quest bugged boss runs on low players is best, in my opinion.

When you kill an act boss to complete an act they roll drops from a different table and also can't drop trash items like scrolls/potions.basically upps your drop chances.

The boss is flagged as required for a quest at the creation of the game and the flag persists regardless of who kills it.
Obviously the quest can only completed once per character, and then the next game that character makes the quest is already completed so the boss isn't flagged as required for a quest and the drops are back to normal.

But you can join a game created by a different character who has not completed the quest, the boss will be flagged as required for a quest and will drop from the better table when it dies. One method to do this is to never complete hell on a mule and use that character for creating games then join on the mf character. The other is to snipe boss kills in games made by questing players.

Opposite, killer needs the quest open. You create on a char that has already completed the quest (You will not be able to progress beyond that point if you want to keep quest drops)

Andy is perma quest drops now in D2R.

Duriel can be perma bugged by not getting duriel completion and then talking to tyrael (easy to do when getting grushed/crushed, just make sure no one is in the chamber when rusher kills duriel).

I think there’s a mf sweet spot around 200 or 350, run multiple games with like 2-3 leechfighters or leeches

ive found that running 150-200 mf drops way more unq items for me personally ive tested many many different things over the years. 300+ is great for rare items tho and thats where you have the best chance at getting a single item that will make you rich.
