Sooo.... has anyone else figured out how to get older macs still running snow leopard to run? It just crashes trying to install the update and the Mac installer doesn't do anything. I have force quit the stupid thing just to get out of it.

Sure, this is mostly (solely?) an OS glitch fix. But notice the post and what it says. "Its just the beginning". And also notice the patch name: 1.14a. Not 1.13e. Not even 1.14. 1.14a!

They specifically said in the notes that 10.9 and older is not supported. I went ahead and upgraded to El Capitan the other day from 10.6.8. Hopefully you're system isn't too old for El Cap otherwise you may be screwed.

FWIW, despite a couple of bugs (like crashing when logging out in windowed mode) the game is running much better for me than it ever did in Snow Leopard.
