People have no interest in dropping 100k on godly items anymore. The market for that was always small and is even smaller now ofc.

Things like charms, hybrids, GG rares/crafts still hold decent value because it’s stuff the average player wants. Selling was always hard on NL but just depends what you have and what you’re trying to sell.


As someone who hasn’t played D2r but watched multiple different streamers now, the pvp looks objectively bad and not worth playing. Gear too expensive, not enough bots, and unresolved issues (ie no wsg, issues with WW, issues with NL) will keep me on LoD for a while

i certainly hope it will remain a good scene, imo as blizz slowly fixes bugs and the meta settles more and more will flee to d2r. but we'll see.

Honestly I hope they announce the shut down soon because I'm just so sick and tired of listening to "pvpers" talk about how great the game is when their character has every single slot filled with hacked/duped/botted items.

The whining about how the "game isn't balanced because of WSG" type of nonsense is so tired and old.

Yeah the original is so well balanced for PVP, that's why there is: Dueling rules, a list of banned items, items having certain modifies are banned, only certain characters are allowed to duel, only certain specs are allowed, and then there's all the glitches that people abuse like desync.

Once you've got all that sorted out and you've loaded up your BM dueling hacks, you just need 100kfg worth of hacked items and you're ready to pretend like the PVP in the game is "balanced."

That's because D2 PVP sucks. I quit when WOW came out.

If you play both games youll notice that the flashy grafics and clunky movements feel of Diablo 2 Resurrected feels more like Diablo 3 than the original Diablo 2. I hope merge will be discussed internal actiblizz and they fuse d2 and d2r moving on to Diablo 4 which can be darker again.

The immense decline in player numbers are a result of chain fatal mistakes the company made over the past months. These mistakes started nearly a decade ago and were at peak when scandals got to the surface of the Internet.

I would say merging servers is the first step to fill up the gap of players who left and most certainly will not return until Diablo 4. The reasons behind their quitting Diablo 2 and Diablo 2R are very different but have one ground and that is quantity over quality of the gaming industries biggest leader which is imo Activision among others.

The second step would be making D2R playable with shit Grafics on low Computers so even Legacy players can enjoy the game without buying D2R Key. Basically we would need one huge realm for all to connect on from different clients meeting in the real D2R. That would indeed resurrect both players, those wo like the old game and the ones who like the new. The legacy button should be reworked. I know that this will reduce the profit gains Activision gets from sold D2R copies but the immense failure of D2R launch and complete ruining the old version without giving any updates set it for a downfall. They owe the playerbase not only apologies but action.
