Hey where are you farming hrs at moment??? I am doing chaosrun 4hours per day, a week ago and can't see any hr.. max was Ist and Um (arent hrs) and that was on Nightmare lol.. I play hardcore, solo game online and sometimes with a firend but can't see any hr :S
only was my bad RNG or what is happening here? o.O
I am thinking play single player with dif8.. this is so frustating..

I found a lo rune at cows, havent been grinding them allot consistently, mostly common item to find is unsocketed monarchs to roll.
My brother found a sur, vex, a few ist at travical.
We both found a ber at chaos couple nights ago, and finished gearing his hammerdin
Found lots of other small crap here and there, nothing big yet other than iding a 20/20/10 anni on that second dclone walk.

I'n my experience from running lots of bots in d2, the worldstone was the best place to farm hrs and other stuff

I was switching farming spot.. I did like 120 chaos runs and didnt see any rune.. sometimes went worldstone, AT, Arcanne.. didnt see a hr yet in this ladder.. I am starting to think if is my rng or they change drops rate.. before ladder with this same hours spend on farming probably I should take 2 or 3 hrs.. I will do like 50-70 cow runs now.. My Last try if dont get nothing goodbye online

It's very random.

There is also no secret that in higher player count games, they drop more often.

You just have to accept the astronomically low drop odds and enjoy the game with the gear you find. I also suggest focusing on quest bugged boss runs. Makes the boss drops more interesting and you forget about the rune drops.

Doing travincal is also a good tip, they have a higher chance to drop high runes, although they are more difficult than normal monsters, especially in hardcore.. so be careufl.

For me cows are good this season

85 areas, ghosts in arcane / tower / other, champ packs, seal popping in chaos, cows...

Just kill shit.

Make one character and run that to the desired boss. Say diablo normal. Kill diablo.

Make one more character and run that to act 4 river of flame waypoint.

Make a game with the first character. Leave the game and rejoin with the other character that has not killed diablo. Kill diablo. Now you get quest drops without doing the quest, and can repeat the process until you get better gear. You can do this with any boss, but diablo and baal is most recommended since they give the best drops.
