There has been no chance of more game time since we bought Diaz. He's sixth choice after Salah, Mane, Firmino, Diaz, Jota and Origi's replacement. From what I'm hearing, we set the price at £17m and a number of clubs are interested. Monaco, Fulham and Leeds, mainly

If we get £35-40m for Mane, £17m for Minamino, £15m for Williams and maybe £10m for Ox I would be happy

After Nunez we need a central midfielder and a backup RB. The rest of the squad is fine

is Milly signing for a +1 ?

Darwin Nunez will wear the no27 shirt after signing a 6yr deal with Liverpool.

Nunez chose #LFC despite bigger contract offer from Manchester United, and Liverpool moved swiftly to agree terms with Benfica with an exclusivity agreement which couldn't be gazumped by United.

What's most interesting is he's a totally different player to Firmino, surely this is another evolution in the team, like when we bought Thiago for more technical prowess in midfield we're now evolving into a more direct team

price tag is insane, but darwin is a really good striker. i was wondering who'd pick him up. i think he would have been a good fit for bayern in case lewandowski finally leaves, but i haven't even heard rumours about them considering that option. maybe benfica's asking price was just too high for them.

is the price tag insane though? 1) he's coming in on a modest wage for a top player at a top club 2) inflation is 10% so it's more like £75m including add ons 3) some of the add ons are pretty tough 4) he's 22 and on a 6 six year contract

what is his wage? i'm not suggesting it's a bad deal or anything, but that's easily a fee i could have imagined pre pandemic. so nowadays it looks pretty insane - at least to me.

about £100k a week I think. For context, Haaland is £500k a week and fuck knows what Mbappe is on.
