Spurs losing today gives us a good chance of 3rd place too. Great day.

"Rumours suggest that Arsenal and Liverpool are the two clubs in the Premier League most interested in the services of Modrić , and it looks like he has plumped for Liverpool."

Looks like it'll cost around £55m or involve a swap deal with Emre Can. He'll be 33 at the end of the season so it's a bit pricey for another 2 years at the top level. Not sure how I feel about it.

I know Klopp has never been wrong with transfers this far. But I really don’t understand how Modric would fit into his plans. The dude is soon to be 33, how is he gonna gegenpress like Ox does?

Klopp is probably thinking: he's one of the best midfielders in the world, he'll make our team better, I have a shit load of Coutinho money to spend, let's get him.

Don't think Modric will leave, isn't he still super vital to Madrid?

I don't feel confident about Modric to be honest. Would he have a higher workrate than Coutinho? We conceded way to many goals with Coutinho on the field because he was shit in defence. I haven't really watched Real Madrid except for Semifinals and finals in CL so I might be really wrong here. But my concern is that he's turning 33, at that age players energy and workrate go down.
