i mean, let's be real here - costa rica had no business winning this game. germany completely dominated and could easily have been 4:0 up at half time, but it would have been hilarious if spain's gambit backfired - and our defence certainly looked like they were trying to make that happen early in the 2nd half. xD

no problem with götze. he did fine in frankfurt, and he wasn't a starter anyway. much more ridiculous were the selections of klostermann, brandt, adeyemi - and also picking schlotterbeck and süle over hummels, who had a much better season than them at dortmund. then refusing to start the only proper striker we have in every game, leaving our most consistent cb out of the team, and holding on to müller for some unknown reason... it's just... really bad managing imo...
