Mallorca just beat Espanyol 2-0

Great result; our first win since the opening game.

With 7 points, we will exit the relegation zone if Celta don't win their home game against Athletic. In any case, it doesn't really matter where we are now, but rather where we will be at the end of the season. Like I've said before, it's unlikely that we will avoid the drop with the current squad, but the longer we can keep the dream alive the better... who knows, the lads might be able to pull off another miracle like last season.

Next game will be against Madrid, so it's unlikely Mallorca will get points, but this win will at least help the team build up confidence for the future.

Sadly Vercauteren left, he was helping our coach with the tactical decisions. He left for Anderlecht to help Kompany and after that we lost 2 stupid games.
