Paying a £50m transfer fee and £200k a week wages for Werner (or any near world class player) to sit on the bench would be a steep investment, even by Man Utd's standards.

No AFCON either and our front 3 have very good injury records in general. If one of them were injury prone then it would be a bigger priority to get quality cover in. It's not like Origi, Shaqiri or Ox are bad players either. Gini can also play there.

Relying on Greenwood for a whole season is silly hes 19. When Rooney and Cristiano were teenagers they were not expected to carry the frontline. Greenwood is a striker playing RF too not a natural winger

They need depth sorely. The drop-off after the starting XI (which i think is good, still a bit behind Pool and Citeh but those two have much better depth) and a couple squad players is dreadful
