Going back to the discussion we had about the semi-pro/amateur/etc status and wage on the lower divisions discussion we had a few weeks ago, one of my best friends, who was earning 800€ a month in the 4th level, just signed for a 5th level club here in Madrid and he'll be earning 1k€ per month.

Even though it's dropping a division, he's taking the offer because it's more money and he like's the club's ambition (he says that their goal is to be in the 3rd level in no more than 4 years, and they've signed 12 other 4th level players this month to achieve it). They're a semi-pro club, and the players work in their jobs during the morning and train with the team during the afternoons and night.

1k, not bad ^_^
thats not too uncommon for top players here either on that level, depending on the club

Borja Valero wants out of Fiorentina and has been caught talking shit about the club... what a surprise, the backstabbing cunt strikes again and keeps insulting his clubs.

Yeah, it's quite crazy. I mean, just look at the preseason friendly River and Boca play every year... it's a friendly and yet they always finish with a bunch of red cards and players fighting at the end of the game
