Gone.

Well, this has been nothing short of utter disaster after so much hype and promise, the fucking piano unveiling video ffs

Worst premier league signing in history.

1) Sanchez to Man United
2) Torres to Chelsea
3) Carroll to Liverpool

Only due to the contract he's on.

Ozil will be part of those conversations soon, Arsenal are letting 55 employees go to save £1.5m a year which is how much he makes in a month

They gave him a big payoff to rip up the contract.

So Man Utd have effectively payed an estimated £10-15m for Inter to sign him on a free, with a huge salary cut for them. Cucked beyond belief.

Possibly the worst piece of business in the history of football.

This is actually why I thought it might be worth giving him another shot, he looked really good for Inter after the lockdown - directly involved in 10 goals in last 12 matches.

It'd also allow us to wait for Sancho another year instead of spending £100m+ that Dortmund are demanding, he's going to have only 12 months left on his contract in 2021.

The weirdest part is he was the best player in the premier league for 2 years and had far more goals/assists than Hazard. World class player at 29 years of age who should be at his peak for another few years and he just bombed. We'll probably never really know why.

He bombed during his final few months at Arsenal tbh. His mind was completely gone from being a workhorse to trying to get a transfer and it messing with his head/motivation.

Probably just burnt out due to his high intensity style of play, he also demanded to play every game and never had any summers off as there's Copa America seemingly every year.

he got ran into the ground carrying that Arsenal team. 3.5 straight years playing nearly every single match possible (with a prime Rooney-like workrate) for club. Plus two Copa America victories for country in back-to-back summers meant little to no time off. He was absolutely incredible in 14/15 and 16/17.

it’s no surprise he gets half a year of rest and recuperation and he looks the part again

no ill feelings at all, he clearly tried when playing it was just an awfuly bad fit in terms of the squad and a situation where his body didnt do what his brain wanted. a desperate transfer move forced by a desperate Jose which only stifled and delayed the emergence of a now settled front featuring Martial and Rashford. hope he continues to do well unless Utd-Inter in the final then i hope he flops again :D

True, Jose doesn't plan for the long term. Gets in players like Ibra for a season or two who might bring something to the team but won't carry the team into the next era.

I was more than happy to let Lukaku go but really hope we won't live to regret getting rid of Sanchez when we've got Lingard and James running down blind alleys on the wings while Rashford, Martial and Greenwood are sidelined with injuries and he is having stormer of a season in Italy.
