Probably less than that for most of them.

I had a job interview at Chelsea FC last year for a semi senior accounts role, the salary was advertised as competitive rate and it's turned out it's not even close to £27k p/a, true story.

Must be tuff living in London with these earnings..

Depends, house share with your mates, or gf, can be a right laugh but to live comfortably on your own you probably need to be on well above £40k a year.

They're probably counting on tribalism of football fans who'd accept lower pay to be "part of the club"
