Of course, any team has a chance against any other team, but England should win on paper as their players are a lot better. Bookies currently have the US as a 6/1 underdog which seems long to me. As someone that watches England closely, we haven’t been in great form going into the tourney. We got slapped by Hungary home and away in the recent qualifiers. People are getting carried away with a good performance against Iran

Plus Southgate might shit the bed and return to the 5 at the back because we let 2 goals in.

Then the result is anyone's guess.

Wales is a joke man, they can't even pass straight, heavy touch on the ball, it's ridiculous

Well, I didn't watch Iran's first game, but they usually compete well, even if they often lose. By far the asian country with the longest football tradition and with a level of passion for the game that has historically been pretty much on par with European countries, even if other asian countries are nowadays superior in terms of players. If they had the economic resources, they'd be surely be able to generate formidable players.

I really liked their game today, well deserved win. I was expecting a more balanced game, but Wales were just terrible.

USA - Iran will be a very nice watch. The Americans are imo favourites, but it should be exciting.

They played a lot worse against England, and also tactically different.
Deserved todays win indeed, but Wales were really poor, dissapointed in them.

Can't really credit Iran for this win as Wales was worst then Costa Rica and I mean that. Iran had loads of opportunities to score and they managed to do so against 10 men and in last 5 minutes. Similar incompetent play will be punished hard with any team who can pass a ball to 5 meters straight and the receiver can handle it.

If Wales plays similarly against England it will be an execution.
