Well, I didn't watch Iran's first game, but they usually compete well, even if they often lose. By far the asian country with the longest football tradition and with a level of passion for the game that has historically been pretty much on par with European countries, even if other asian countries are nowadays superior in terms of players. If they had the economic resources, they'd be surely be able to generate formidable players.
I really liked their game today, well deserved win. I was expecting a more balanced game, but Wales were just terrible.
USA - Iran will be a very nice watch. The Americans are imo favourites, but it should be exciting.
They played a lot worse against England, and also tactically different.
Deserved todays win indeed, but Wales were really poor, dissapointed in them.
