Well there you have it; it can be counterproductive to have him in the team... you never know if or when he will start a mess that will create toxicity in the dressing room, undermine the manager's authority or lower his market price.
From what I've seen from him, he's indeed a good player, but I think he's worth the risk of dealing with all that bs.
