They're playing 3 ATB too, yesterday they had to play Dier there which just isn't that great. It makes sense to buy him, but Def not at that price.

he's probably better than Dier, who is a dreadful butcher. so glad United didn't get him and went for Matic instead. Sanchez is 2.5 years younger too and higher probability of selling him on for much more later.

He has potential that is true, I didn't know they played 3 at the back. Then it makes a little more sense. But the price for a virtually unproven player is madness really.

he was pretty good defensive-wise in the Europa League final vs United - loads of athleticism, strong and quick, and tall enough. but dreadful on the ball, Mourinho's tactics were to allow him all kinds of space because his distribution is poor. Pogba's goal deflecting in off him too though.
if a manager like Poch can help him with passing and what not, he will be a very strong CB.
