We will probably grab a OLB no matter what, even if we don't sign an shutdown CB. I'm pretty sure every1 is off the "fixing the o-line" hype. Might grab a O-lineman as a 3rd or 4th pick, nothing big though. I doubt we'd throw the money at Nnamdi, but that would be sick as shit. Would be sweet to see a gg corner though

I'll text my friend for a update but he wont know too much till after the Pro-Bowl when Free Agency gets hot-n-heavy. All he said was secondary isn't a huge factor for us in the draft. Mayhew will get the secondary fix via free agency. Which I wouldn't mind because I rather draft a few more young o / d linemen and linebackers and have experienced cornerbacks. Hopefully the linebacker core gets revamped besides Levy of course.

I wouldn't mind keeping Bobby Carpenter and Ashlee Palmer either. Both where pretty sound during the end of the season.

Any opinions on what you think will happen w/ Felton with a hopefully healthy K-smith / Best next year

I wouldn't worry too much about the Lion's offense, they were pretty good this year. Your defense, specially your secondary, is what I would worry about. If there ever was a team that could use aso...

Felton is in the same predicament as La'Ron?? McClain is in Baltimore. Both wants to be more active in the offense via running attempts. I honestly would dump Felton in a heart-beat the guy isn't a smooth-run/pass blocker and god knows Lions would love to start airing it out more too Calvin Johnson. If I was Mayhew I would sign McClain to be the smash-mouth with Momo (His getting to be in his 30's) and have Jahvid Best do what he does best (burn defenses).

Move K-smooth to fullback. His a very well above average pass-blocker and his shown to throw some really high quality run blocks as well.

But in reality McClain isn't a high prospect for the Lions. I think with Momo & Best running with K-smooth blocking we will be just fine.

Felton wants more carries or wants out (Who the fuck would want him? I guess every time needs a water-boy)

Our secondary was very young! Smith had one horrible game verses New England other than that he was pretty sound. Houston did very well too.

I don't even want Nnamdi (would be awesome tho) but as long as he doesn't end up with a NFC North team I wouldn't really care.

I’m believing Mayhew will be offering Nnamdi 4-Year 70m 45m (Bout 14-15m a year) guarantee.

Be hard for him to turn it down if his looking for $$$. Revis is getting around 11m a year for 4 years.

I dont see why the Lions would draft a D Lineman at #13? We need to get 2 starting OLBs so im expecting theyre going to trade for one or sign a free agent to fill one need and draft one in the first round. If Mayhew does sign or trade for a CB then we need to draft a SS if Speivey isnt going to start there next year. If Mayhew isnt planning on signing or trading for a CB then the Lions should draft the best available CB.
Round 1: OLB
Round 2: CB or SS
Round 3: WR
Round 4: OL
Round 5: DL
Round 7: CB or SS?
