Would love this signing. Would fill a definite need for us while giving us a player with tremendous upside if he can stay healthy. He'll be motivated for a big payday. For Ansah, he'd be getting a likely starting job and the opportunity to prove himself. Seems like a win-win.

My only preference is that the contract be signed after May 8th when compensatory picks no longer factor into FA signings.

I didn't hear anything like that. I always thought Vedvik was going to be someone we trade for a draft pick right before the season starts, since several teams need kickers and he seems pretty good.

But maybe I'm out of the loop. I hadn't really thought of it, but Koch is getting kind of old (36). Punters can play until their 40s though, especially one like Koch who relies more on technique and less on power.

My guess would be they keep the wolfpack together.

He pulled a precursor justice smollett to arrange ved to get Baltimore'd one night so he would have an extra year to sign him as koch prices/ages out and would also be able to help prolong tucker by taking kickoffs for him.
