Montee is no worse than 5. I'd love him in the second he got quicker and he has what any RB in the NFL needs to be successful, vision.

15) Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina – Lattimore is such a tough one for me to place.  He would have easily been the top back in this draft before another season ending knee injury set him back, yet again.  Now there is concern that he won’t even be able to play in the 2013 season.  With that said, if a team is willing to spend a 5th, 6th or 7th rounder on him, they need to just put him on IR and start him in the NFL in 2014.  Don’t risk him coming back too soon, let him heal up and learn from behind the scenes.  I’d love to see Lattimore go to a team with an incredible leader for him to learn behind.  The first and obvious choice is Minnesota.  I doubt they’d take him, in fact, I’d bet money that they don’t even have RB anywhere on their list of concerns, as it should be, they don’t need one.  But if Lattimore had someone like AP guiding him, he’d become a superstar running back in the NFL.http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=66429688&f=204

Lattimore's injury was far worse then McGahees. Not saying McGahees wasn't bad, because it was, he was never the same after that injury. Lattimore's injury was pretty bad. Not to mention his other knee being blown out with the ACL the year before. He now has one knee completely shredded and one blown out knee.

Pretty much this.

I unfortunately don't have faith that he can ever return to what he once was. I really REALLY hope he can because he can be something special, but I just don't see it. :(

ive always wondered if/when we will start seeing stud rb's such as lattimore who secure a rookie contract after essentially 1 year of college ball declare themselves ineligble in the ncaa's eyes by hiring an agent and just training for two years until they are draftable. saves them knees

Have you ever watched Ball?

He never fumbles.

*655: Career carries before his first lost fumble.
*802: Career touches before his first lost fumble.
